The 10 cutest games on Nintendo Switch

There are a ton of lovely games on Nintendo Switch, so here are the 10 sweetest that will definitely make your cheeks flush.

Autonauts

In the simulation game Autonauts, you may use a fleet of robots to automate the manufacture of items. Its endearing protagonist, vibrant aesthetics, and purposefully choppy animations that truly pop are what give it its cuteness. Also, it’s adorable because you raise cardboard-like human-like individuals to live in the little civilizations you construct from newborns.

Princess Farmer

You can’t go wrong with Princess Farmer if you’re searching for a super-cute puzzle game. There is lots of conversation where you may develop connections with a large cast of odd bunnies, one of whom is a robot, in addition to its endearing sprites and satisfying vegetable-picking action. Making absurd decisions during talks often produces hilarious small talk.

The Cruel King and the Great Hero

The Cruel King and the Great Hero is a typical turn-based role-playing game that has a lot to offer in terms of gameplay and narrative. Yuu, a wild kid raised by a Demon King, is the character you control in the game. She is on a mission to become a great hero. If you add a quirky graphic style and stunning hand-drawn characters to this delightful adventure’s basic idea, you’re in for a very memorable role-playing game.

Doraemon Story of Seasons: Friends of the Great Kingdom

After a stellar premiere, Doraemon Tale of Seasons brought back Friends of the Big Kingdom, which upped the charming dial to 11 due to its dream-like graphics, goofy speech, and the band of endearing animal friends. It doesn’t matter if you’ve never heard of the manga; you’ll still like this agricultural sim.

Super Onion Boy 2

Super Onion Boy 2 still stands out as one of the prettiest 2D platformers despite there being a ton to select from. You control a chubby onion character that is charming on his own, but he is so adorable when he transforms into a ninja or wizard that I want to light my Switch on fire and toss it into a nearby river. Onion Boy can also spin around in midair and float about in bubbles, and the foes are cheerful tiny veggies. Yeah, and it’s always fun to watch him search through chests. Just let me play it now so I can stop talking about it. Thank you.

FROGUN

Speaking of platformers, FROGUN is an absurdly adorable 3D platformer where you take control of Renata, a silly girl who runs about and shoots a frog gun to cling to objects and battle foes. You’re sure to have a great time watching Renata stomp across the surroundings once you dress her up in a new hat and defeat all kinds of beautiful creatures thanks to the game’s Nintendo 64-era graphics, which are flawless and colorful. Moreover, there is gorgeous fan art to unlock, which is amazing since it’s not something you often see in games.

Grapple Dog

Super Onion Boy 2 is adorable, Grapple Dog is much cuter. That’s up for debate, but in my opinion, it is. In any case, you control Pablo, an animated puppy that runs about in soft landscapes that seem to have been taken right from a children’s book. The array of people you’ll see along the journey is nothing short of endearing, and even though his sprite is so tiny yet meticulously rendered, it makes for one animated protagonist who is full of energy. I really like to smash the silly robots and watch as they shoot forth bolts of energy. There are other nuances, such as Pablo’s swim movement and the way he hits his head on the ceiling after being shot by a cannon.

Ooblets

Ooblets is a quirky independent film that is so endearing and humorous that it’s difficult to put down. In fact, even just thinking about it makes me want to relive the event. You can’t help but smile when playing Ooblets because to its amusing card-based dance fights with crazy monster friends that make up the game’s fighting system and characters with names like Churles.

Cuddly Forest Friends

Lastly, I’ll mention the game that gave me the idea for this list: Cuddly Forest Buddies! Doesn’t the name already convey how adorable it is? Of course, but I’m still going to discuss it. You’ll get to know a cast of nine cute rats as they support one another, accomplish duties, and share snacks before going to bed via a straightforward life-sim component and a variety of entertaining mini-games. With the ability to enjoy the cuteness alone or with companions, there are plenty of smiles for each of your gaming pals.

Kirby’s Dream Buffet

The last and cutest is Kirby’s Dream Buffet. You roll Kirby across enormous worlds packed with food in this entertaining spin-off as you attempt to eat as much as you can. It’s fun to see Kirby grow into a chubby-wubbly ball because the largest Kirby wins in this game of the competition. You’re left with a hectic and undoubtedly delightful formula that you’ll keep returning to after adding in a variety of super-cute mini-games and unlockables that allow you to create a cake and change how Kirby appears.

The games that have been discussed up to this point are some of our most cherished ones. The greatest thing is that you may play them right now on your own personal computer without spending any money. You will also have the option to put your gaming prowess to the test in a variety of other well-known games, including the following: Stray, Splatoon 3, 1v1 LOL, Elden Ring, Coreball, Cult of the Lamb…
